Gmail accounts targeted by ‘state-sponsored attackers’ using Internet Explorer zero-day vulnerability

Both Google and Microsoft have put out alerts about an unpatched, zero-day hole in Internet Explorer that is actively being exploited in the wild. If you’re using IE & Windows, install Microsoft’s Fix-it workaround immediately. I also included a bunch of tips from Graham on how to protect your Gmail account from getting hacked. At any rate, if you’re important enough that a state wants to hack you 1) congratulations! I’m impressed that I know you! 2) why the &^% would you use free email for sensitive documents? Read it.
